The Versatile Blogger Award

I have been fortunate enough to have been gifted the Versatile Blogger Award by none other that the amazing Rory of A Guy Called Bloke and K9 Doodlepip  I’m pretty sure you all know and love him and his site by now, but if, by the insane possibility, you don’t, please go and check it out.  There is something for everyone!  He never disappoints.

Award Guidelines

If you are gifted, you’ve been awarded the Versatile Blogger Award.

Thank the person who gave you this award.

Include a link to their blog.

Gift and notify 3 bloggers for the Versatile Blogger Award  that you’ve recently discovered or follow regularly.

Finally, tell the person who gifted you 5 things about yourself.

*You are under no obligation to respond, there is no need to further gift the VBA out to others should you not wish to. Please simply accept my gift to you as the compliment it is.

What is the Versatile Blogger Award?

{In the words of Rory- because I couldn’t say it any better if I tried} The VBA principally is about supporting other bloggers, it’s about community and if nothing else – we can all agree that WordPress is about community, about the freedom to express ourselves through our craft, our skill and our talent.

When you consider gifting a fellow blogger for the Versatile Blogger Award, consider the quality of the writing, the uniqueness of the subjects covered, the level of love displayed in the words on the virtual page. Or, of course, the quality of the photographs and the level of love displayed in the taking of them.

Honor those bloggers who bring something special to your life whether every day or only now and then.

In my own words, the VBA or any award we “gift” to others is meant to be a compliment and a way of recognizing our fellow bloggers.  It’s a way of saying ‘thank you’ for your writing.  It’s a means of getting bloggers connected who may not have known of each other before.  I find so many new bloggers by reading the awards of others!  I love these awards even though I don’t always feel deserving.

5 Things About Me

I could eat sushi every day, but I don’t particularly love eating fish which has been cooked more than once in a while.

I pay more for snacks that come in individual packages because I have no will power to stop eating them otherwise.

I’m obsessed with Alice in Wonderland

I am inspired and motivated by books and movies about strong, badass women.

When things aren’t going my way I take it as a sign that I should be wanting something different.

Thank you again, Rory!  I needed this to get me going again.  I’ve been struggling with my creativity and actually posting something feels like an accomplishment and a start!

  1. Hey KK, l thought that an award would be the ideal thing to ease you back in rather nicely, so l am pleased it has served 🙂

Good to have to have you back KK, now we just need to read all about the ups and downs of moving.

Once Britchy is back we will all be a complete set again, alas poor Britchy isn’t that well, last time we communicated was 10 days ago and she had pneumonia and pleurisy which is not good at all 😦
