3, 2, 1 – Quote Me

I was nominated for this fun little challenge by the unfailingly energetic Rory, at A Guy Called Bloke and K9 Doodlepip.  This one is special to me as “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” is absolutely my favorite book ever!!  Why?  I don’t know exactly, perhaps the esotericism draws me in.  Maybe it seems like a good trip on bad drugs or a bad trip on good drugs, or a good trip on good drugs, reminding me of the one time ever that I tried a psychedelic!!  Anyway…I will climb back out of that rabbit hole and continue on with the challenge.

Per the creator:

Everyone loves quotes right?

So l figured to introduce a bit of light hearted and simple fun with this game.

Every day l will pick a topic, post 2 quotes and nominate 3 bloggers, who in turn will post 2 quotes on that topic and nominate 3 bloggers of their own and let’s see how far we can take that topic for the day.

Rules: 3.2.1 Quote Me!

Thank the Selector

Post 2 quotes for the dedicated Topic of the Day.

Today’s Topic: “Through Your Looking Glass”

My Quotes:

“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here”. “That depends a good deal on where you want to get to”. “I don’t much care where –“. “Then it doesn’t matter which way you go”. – Lewis Carroll

“I don’t think …” “Then you shouldn’t talk,” said the Hatter – Lewis Carroll

I absolutely love them both!  From the simplest truths.  If you don’t know where you are going, what difference does the route make?  If you don’t think why should you have anything to say?  I know, I know, “I don’t think” is often the prefix to an opinion…but you have to admit the quick wit is enviable!

My Nominees:

Down Under Dad

You Know You’re Turning Parisian When

The Return of the Modern Philosopher
