3, 2, 1 Quote Me

Greetings bloggers!!! Sorry I’ve been MIA for a bit. Don’t think that I’ve forgotten about any of you though! I’m a little behind on my challenges, but this one seems perfect for getting me back on track. Thank you to Rory, at A Guy Called Bloke and K9 Doodlepip for continuing to challenge me and for creating this fun little challenge in the first place. Here’s how it works, in the words of the tireless blogging creator himself:

Everyone loves quotes right?

So l figured to introduce a bit of light hearted and simple fun with this game.

Every day l will pick a topic, post 2 quotes and nominate 3 bloggers, who in turn will post 2 quotes on that topic and nominate 3 bloggers of their own.

Topic for Today: Love is, What?

I am so happy to be nominated for LOVE! Obviously, if you’ve read my blog, you know I’m a hopeless romantic and have never given up on finding a fairytale love. Now that I’ve found it, I’m loving writing about it. These two quotes are special to me because I believe them with all my heart.

My Quotes:

“True love stories never have endings” – Richard Bach

“Love is an irresistible desire to be irresistibly desired” – Robert Frost

My Nominees:

Marble Tulips

Divorced and Dating at 30

To my nominees – there is never an obligation to participate. Please think of the nomination as me saying “I really like your blog and want to share it”.

XOXO

  1. Well, I am older than my significant other, but we are both very comfortable with that. It seems as though men become older quicker than we women, but that is just an opinion, and perhaps not accurate. Anyway, I believe that love is when the two of you are looking out in the same direction. It is unlimited; you love each other when you are beautiful and new and you also love each other when one of you loses all your teeth, suddenly has to have hearing aids, or lots of surgeries and procedures. You smile together and feel a sense of wonder and comfort at the smallest things like the way one of the five chihuahuas lies on his back with feet in the air when he goes to sleep, or how the goldfish come and stare at you as if perhaps it will bring an extra treat before bed. It is a kind of softness and comfort that you love each other when you have a lot to say, and just as much when you sit next to each other and are not saying anything, but you know that the two of you are linked not just for the moment, but for whatever time is left for you to be with each other. And you send each other things you each think the other might enjoy on Facebook or via your e-mail.
