So, I got lost a little this week and failed to see that the very magnanimous Bloke from A Guy Called Bloke and K9 Doodlepip nominated me for this awesome challenge.  I’m sure you all must know him by now.  I can’t even believe it if you uttered the word “no”!!!  This man is an amazing blogger, selfless in acknowledging other bloggers and helping them get noticed, tireless in how many challenges, games, and whimsical subjects he blogs about each day!  Thank you Rory!  Sorry for the delay.

Today’s Topic (actually from a few days ago):

ADVENTURE

 

My quotes:

So, I always like to say a little something as to why I chose my quotes.  If you have been reading my blog, then you know I’m a hopeless romantic and never stopped searching for love.  Love is truly an adventure…seeking it, surviving the pitfalls, and even finding it and keeping it.  That explains the first quote.

The second quote is from Harry Potter and I am a Harry Potter nerd to the max!  I didn’t discover these books until I was well into my 30s.  I believe 2 or 3 were already published.  My mother had sent me the first one as a gift.  I thought “really, mom?  Do you know how old I am?”  But one weekend when I wasn’t working and the weather was crap, I picked it up.  Those books took me into the wizarding world and I absolutely loved reading every word because it was so much more adventurous than my life.

Adventure is my second favorite thing next to love.  Life is the ultimate adventure….go live it!!!

I have always been a hopeless romantic believing in a fairytale-like love. Even after two bad marriages and more bad dates than I can count, I still held out for that perfect love. Finding it has been an adventure. I want to share my journey so that others know it can happen for them as well. The road leading to happiness has a lot of bumps...feel free to laugh at all of mine!

  1. Excellent and truly living up to the phrase l metioned only the other day 🙂 I too am a HP Fan and was upset when they finished and had hoped we would see more of HP when it all ended. I got into the books in my mid 40’s and was hooked, lined and sinkered as well 🙂
