I was tagged by my dear friend Rory of A Guy Called Bloke and K9 Doodlepip  to participate in this fun little writing challenge called “Tell the Story” which was created by The Eclectic Contrarian .

Guidelines … Create your own Tell The Story around the image below, then select three bloggers of your own and add your own image to complete the tag. All you need do is create a tale, story or poem.

Once upon a time a little girl threw a coin into a fountain hoping to have her wishes granted.  She didn’t think much about it after she walked away.  The next day she spent the afternoon in a beautiful meadow full of flowers under a blue sky and bright sunshine that seemed to encourage the flowers to emit their intoxicating perfumes.  The young boy from the village whom she liked very much had joined her.  They laid side by side in the grass, staring up at the sky, discussing the shapes of the clouds and what animals they saw in them.  The little girl had never felt happier and at that moment she said “I wish this moment would be frozen forever!”  And just then everything turned to ice.

Be careful what you wish for, it just might come true.

I have always been a hopeless romantic believing in a fairytale-like love. Even after two bad marriages and more bad dates than I can count, I still held out for that perfect love. Finding it has been an adventure. I want to share my journey so that others know it can happen for them as well. The road leading to happiness has a lot of bumps...feel free to laugh at all of mine!

      1. It’s not even that KK, what l mean, is it didn’t show up in my notifications. If l don’t get a notification to say there is a pingback or even a comment, l don’t always know.

      3. I know, but it’s annoying and it’s not the first time it’s happened, They are not even showing up in my Pending folder. I only see them if by chance l am looking at the comments on the blog or as the case yesterday when l was visiting your blog and l saw your recent posts.

      4. I wonder if something needs to be reset on your site. Or could it be that only a certain number of other bloggers posts show up in your notifications? Maybe the top 100 you interact with?? 🤷‍♀️

      5. I don’t know KK, my stats are set up to accomadate all responses, but l have seen other bloggers saying this as well, l do wonder in the process of WP rolling out their new layout and the subtle changes we keep seeing if that has something to do with it?
